WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE!!!! I am incredibly excited for the release of this movie. My son, who will be a little over three when this “monster story” comes out, loves it and will likely be the first film I get to take him to see.

Pinback Here is a band that I often to forget to share with everyone because I assume that everyone should know them already. Pinback is a fantastic two member band from San Diego, California. Zach hailed from Three Mile Pilot where as Rob came from Thingy and Heavy Vegetable. “Bouquet” is a track from their latest release and comprises many of the elements I love about Pinback. I...

Radiohead This is not the best that I have seen Radiohead though I think it was great to see them participate and sing with a full marching band behind them. I only saw Thom and Johnny on stage which makes me wonder if the rest of the boys made the trip. I guess I’ll find out if they win a reward.

I had the great fortune of knowing, Jeremy Brown, Drummer / Vocalist in this band while I lived in San Diego. Easily one of the most talented musicians that I know and one that deserves a break. The guitarist Czar Michael Suzick used to perform with a band called rust which was a pretty well known band in Southern Cal. Check em out.

Pela is ready to break!
While I am not a big fan of directing people to myspace I feel that everyone should give a listen to Pela. Pela is an NYC band that exhibits some really tight musicianship and Springsteen like story lines in their songs. Songs such as Lost to the Lonesome and Waiting on the Stairs have radio potential though remain independent of being labeled as radio fodder.

La Nina is coming!
Come this Tuesday my wife and I should be celebrating the birth of our little girl. Lately I have been calling here La Nina because I am sure she will be a little storm that comes into our lives. We are very excited about the birth of our second child and I am especially interested in how this will change the dynamic of our house. We have a little boy that pretty much has the run of the place and...

On this blog you will find random information and thoughts that i can’t really put anywhere else. I have blogged elsewhere before would like to give it a go on my own. I will share my thoughts on music, literature and other random things I find on my travels through the interwebs. I hope you find something that you like. Hasta la Pasta for now!
